Guernsey daffodils
Guernsey daffodils for English Markets. Hartmann 2835.4.

'Guernsey daffodils for English Markets', posted in July 1912. There's very little in this picture to provide a location: the house in the background probably still exists, but what's the betting that the daffodil fields are now covered with houses?

Oct. 2001: I've now seen another copy of this card, posted a few years earlier, where the sender has written 'St Martin's' on the front. In the message, she asks whether the recipient remembers going past this field on the way to Miss Frampton's. The 1903 edition of Kelly's Directory of the Channel Islands lists one Miss Frampton in St Martin's, living at La Bouvée, Jerbourg. So perhaps this is somewhere on the Jerbourg headland?
