Tilly writes to Ivy at 257 Park Lane, Tottenham on 7 October 1904: 'will you please make a White Victoria Bonnet shape for my niece. The one you saw, when you were here. I have been expecting you this wk. but suppose you have been too busy. Can you let me have the shape Monday morning?'. The card was also posted in London, and with just 'Channel Isles' in the title, this might well be Jersey, not Guernsey. But could that be Fort Richmond on the slight hill to the left, with the headland of Le Crocq behind the vraic gatherers?
