Déhus Dolmen

Dehus Dolmen Dehus Dolmen
GUERNSEY. La Hougue de Déhus. Sanbride, M'Bro.

The Déhus dolmen is probably the most interesting of the Neolithic tombs on Guernsey, mainly because of the remarkable figure carved on one of the stones which now forms part of its roof. It was probably a menhir, or standing stone, before being re-used in the construction of the tomb. As far as we know the figure was only spotted for the first time in 1917.
