Two fascinating views of St Sampson's Harbour, dating about forty years apart: the card on the left is from the 1930s, and the colour view was posted in 1977. The most obvious change is in the quarry at lower right on the coloured card, which lies in the triangle between Church Road, South Side and New Road. The view has now changed again, with the Harbour converted into a marina. |
