This might have been another candidate
for the 'where is it?' pages, except that I grew up just along the
road, and remember being sent here to buy potatoes in the 1970s. It's
Saints Farm, on the road out to Icart, and this card was sent by Miss
Minnie Le Messurier to Mrs Gladys Allez in 1909, wishing her a Merry
Xmas and a Happy New Year. Presumably Miss Le Messurier had a number of
these produced to use as greetings cards. Richard Strappini's new book
on St Martin's parish, which includes a number of cards from this
website, records (p. 21) that Saints Farm was sold to the Browning
family in 1910, so this was perhaps the last year that Miss Le
Messurier sent her cards from here.
